Privacy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from another host. There is no account system, no comment form and no newsletter. Reading it leaves no trace beyond the server's own access log.
What the server keeps
Standard access logs: time, requested path, status code, user agent and IP address. They are kept for seven days to operate the site and to notice abuse, then deleted. They are not joined with anything else, because there is nothing else to join them with.
What the pages contain
- No third-party fonts, scripts, images or counters. Every file is served from this domain.
- No cookies and no local storage. There is no JavaScript on the site at all, so there is nothing to store.
- The feed is a static XML file. Your reader fetches it like any other page; we do not measure who reads it.
The feed
feed.xml contains the news items with absolute links and publication dates. It has no tracking parameters, no per-reader URLs and no images that would phone home when the feed is opened.
Outbound links
We do not publish outbound links, by design: the tools we write about are named in plain text. If a future article needs to cite an external source, the link will be visible in the text and will not be wrapped in a redirect.
Questions
Privacy questions go through the community page, like corrections and topic proposals. This page was last reviewed on 2026-10-16 and describes the site as it is today, not as it might be after a redesign.
